(PRWEB) October 21, 2013 -- The versatile nature of the pickup truck makes it easy to transport cargo, supplies and all needed equipment when one is going on a trip or hoping to get some work done at a client’s. With the right set of truck bed accessories, transporting any size of cargo becomes easy and safe. At the start of October, CARiD introduced a comprehensive collection of truck bed accessories from industry leaders Lund, UnderCover, Dee Zee and TruXedo. At CARiD, car owners will now find appropriate accessories to hold down their cargo during travel and secure their truck bed from the dings and dents caused when cargo shifts about and collides with each other in the truck.
For drivers who need to carry their tools of trade with them, CARiD offers a selection of premium quality Bed Tool Boxes. These come in different styles, configurations and sizes and can be used in all kinds of trucks. Most are made from aluminum, though a significant number feature a stainless steel or hard plastic construction. All the popular tool box designs like the Crossover and Side Boxes are available at the store. These designs attach to the side rails and don’t interfere with the bed space. The Specialty Series Narrow Single Lid Crossovers Tool Box by Dee Zee® is one such example.
To keep loose cargo secured inside the truck, CARiD also offers a range of Bed Cargo Nets & Tie Downs from top brands Covercraft, Carr, Pilot and more. The new selection of bed nets is made from tough stretch shock cord, which snugly nets in cargo of any size and shape without losing its form. The Tie Downs come in a choice of carabiner strap and carabiner and loop tie-down strap and are available in assortments of different sizes. All feature a heavy-duty construction for extra protection, as seen in the Universal Tie-Down Straps by Carr®.
For a lot of drivers, it is typical to cart around some fuel, especially when on long-distance transit or nighttime travel. Transporting fuel has to be done with care to avoid heat and pressure build-up, spillage and accidents. Through the Dee Zee® line of Fuel Transfer Tanks it now offers, CARiD makes fuel transportation easy for all truck drivers. The different sizes of fuel transfer tanks have a low center of gravity, check valve and pressure regulator to eliminate risk of accidents.
