Ruth England, Star of “Man, Woman, Wild,” Joins Survival Life as an Expert Contributor.
Austin, TX (PRWEB) October 19, 2013 -- Survival Life is proud to announce Ruth England as their newest contributor. The co-star of the television series “Man, Woman, Wild” and a soon to debut series on the Travel Channel will bring her expertise to the Survival Life community.
Ruth, along with her husband Mykel Hawke, will be joining the team as an expert contributor and advisor in all things survival. Ruth has trudged alongside Mykel across the globe, but she has seen her fair share of survival situations on her own as a television news anchor and correspondent over the last two decades.
Ruth’s freelance television career is extensive and has taken her on over 90 different foreign shoots, everywhere from Rwanda to the Arctic Circle. For three years, she was host of “Wish You Were Here,” one of the UK's top travel shows.
In addition, she traveled around the world as a reporter for National Geographic Channel's “Explorer's Journal.” She has also hosted a variety of popular factual, reality and chat shows. Ruth is a true survivor and will now share all of the experience she has gained in her career with the Survival Life community.
‘Above Average’ Joe, Managing Editor at Survival Life, is excited to have Ruth join the team and contribute her knowledge and skills to the community.
“We are honored to have Ruth England as an expert on SurvivalLife.com, and look forward to sharing her knowledge, experience, and skill with our community. Ruth will bring a much-needed female perspective to the world of survival and preparedness,” Joe said.
