New timeQplus Update Supports ACA Compliance
Raleigh, NC (PRWEB) October 18, 2013 -- As many are aware, the Affordable Care Act (ACA), also known as “Obamacare,” introduces new reporting requirements on employers.
Acroprint Time Recorder Company is pleased to announce a new release of our popular timeQplus Software which will help our customers comply with the reporting requirements of the ACA. This update includes a new “Average Hours Worked” report, which was specifically designed to assist business owners and managers with ACA reporting and compliance.
“Those of us in the time and attendance industry often focus on the cost and time saving benefits of our products. But another important benefit of what we offer is to help employers reduce their potential legal liabilities. Our updated software makes life easier for our small and mid-sized business customers by helping them fulfill ACA reporting regulations,” stated company president Glenn Robbins.
Additional Updates
This software update also adds another top-requested feature, multiple-level user permissions. Administrators can now assign individual permission rights to supervisors and employees, limiting the data and system functions they can access.
Supervisors can view, edit, approve and run reports on timesheets only for employees assigned to them, and cannot access system configuration options. Employees can view and print only their own timesheet, and cannot edit data. Administrators have access to all system functions.
Other improvements include a new “Missing Punches” report, rewritten system documentation, more flexible reporting options, custom shift settings, the ability to designate a default work code at the terminal and more.
Existing timeQplus customers who are using an earlier version of the software should contact Acroprint for information on how to update their installation to gain access to these new and improved features.
