About the Developer: Katrina Parrott, a former NASA Program Manager created this App through Apple’s Developer Program. iDiversicons was initially created to satisfy a desire that my daughter (Katy Parrott, UT Austin student) expressed “wouldn’t it be nice to have emoticons that look like the person sending them.” We discovered that there is a demand for more diverse emoticons. We successfully created unique emoticons that represent everyone! Our biggest challenge in development was the limitations associated with the Unicode standard. iDiversicons allows the User to text and email images through a simple copy and paste process.
