SanDiego.com Presents the Most Spooktacular Family Friendly Halloween Events for 2013
San Diego, CA (PRWEB) October 18, 2013 -- Looking to keep the entire family together this Halloween? SanDiego.com did some research and we found some of the safest and most fun family friendly Halloween events. Visit San Diego’s best known theme parks and attractions for their spin on Halloween festivities this year.
San Diego Zoo Sleepover-
Guests will be greeted at check-in by Dr. Zoolittle, create personalized trick or treat bags to collect treats throughout the evening, take a bus ride around the park to see some spooky animals, before they arrive to their “haunted” Camp Timbuktu, to settle into their tents. Dinner is then served up at camp before the trick or treat and animal meet and greet. Don’t forget your costumes, as kids can dress up for the costume parade. The evening will continue back at camp with Dr.Zoolittles ghost stories and snacks around the campfire before bed. In the morning guests will rise to a buffet breakfast overlooking the Elephant odyssey and see some more animals. This is sure to be quite the experience for the whole family departing with wonderful memories and souvenir gift.

Brick-or-Treat at Legoland San Diego-
As guests wander through the park they can stop at the 10 LEGO themed treat stations that are handing out candy, healthy snack, and some surprises as well! If guests are up for it there is a bonus station set up at SEA LIFE Carlsbad Aquarium (requires admission ticket). Costume Contest run every Saturday night for children under 12. Winners will receive 4 membership passes and gift basket. Registration begins at 4pm at the Imagination Zone.

SeaWorld’s Halloween Spooktacular-
SeaWorld is joining in on the festivities of Halloween and put together a ton of fun Halloween activities. There will be trick or treating from 11am - 6pm at 10 different spots, as well as Otto’s Candy Garden full of sweets and treats. Don’t forget to check out the shows, there will be a Sesame Street Countdown to Halloween musical production, as well as Clyde and Seamore’s Spooky Adventure running. To see the festive sea creatures visit Penelope’s Pumpkin Patch where pumpkin fish roam in the unique undersea pumpkin patch.

Haunted Birch Aquarium: Shipwrecked-
The Birch Aquarium has put together a night of spooky fun for its guests. Come see the underwater creatures, live music and dancing with Billy Lee & the Swamp Critters, play games and listen to stories. Touch the animals with interactive animal encounters, and hop on the chance to make some slime in the deep sea slime lab. There will also be treats given out and a costume raffle for all dressed up participants.
