Despegar to Utilize VFM Leonardo’s Visual Content to Offer Travel Shoppers a More Engaging Online Experience

Under the agreement, Despegar is now a direct channel partner in VFM Leonardo’s VNetwork™ - the largest online media syndication network for the global travel industry. Despegar will access over 1.5 million photo images for all 100,000+ GDS listed hotels through an automated synchronization with VFM Leonardo’s VScape database. Additionally, Despegar has integrated VFM Leonardo’s VBrochure Online Merchandising System into hotel details pages.
Hotel chains and representation companies will manage their properties’ images directly through their VScape Digital Asset Management license. Hotels subscribing to VFM Leonardo’s VBrochure Online Merchandising System will have the added benefit of providing shoppers on Despegar and its 21 regional sites with a fuller and richer visual experience as the customized version of their VPowered Multimedia player will display with their property listing.
