AutoTex PINK Windshield Wipers Wins Automotive Communications Award for “Break the Mold” Campaign
Pine Brook, New Jersey (PRWEB) October 18, 2013 -- AutoTex PINK Windshield Wiper's innovative "Break the Mold" advertising campaign is being recognized for its fresh voice and unique product offering by the automotive aftermarket product industry’s Care Council Women’s Board this fall. AutoTex PINK will receive its award during the Automotive Aftermarket Product Expo (AAPEX), held in Las Vegas in November. The company's ad is also in the running for the Expo's "best-in-show" award.
“This award and to be recognized by our peers means a lot to our entire team,” said Paula Lombard, Wexco Industries President and founder of AutoTex PINK. “A few years back, we set out on a journey to “Wipe out Breast Cancer” and to be a different, fresh voice in the automotive aftermarket and the wiper industry. This award and the increasing demand for AutoTex PINK wiper blades have been a product of unbelievable support from our partners and team’s tireless efforts.”
Those efforts have continued to support women in the United States and Canada. Each of the first two years of the AutoTex Pink program, WEXCO raised enough funds from their sales to be recognized as a bronze sponsor by the National Breast Cancer Foundation. In 2012, sales of AutoTex Pink doubled total donations to achieve a Silver Level sponsor to the NBCF. Now, in 2013, after new brand strategies and growth, AutoTex Pink is right on target for a Gold Level sponsorship for the NBCF, which has been awarded the highest rated Breast Cancer charity organization by Charity Navigator.
“We do not find it coincidence that we continue to grow as a brand of wiper blades and grow our impact on the community,” said the proud Lombard. “Our ‘Break the Mold” concept means a lot to us as a business culture, to our distributors and to our retailers, and most of all, to our supporters. It’s a philosophy that resonates. It’s a philosophy that can bring about life-saving change.”
With its popularity on the rise, AutoTex Pink is predicting a hugely successful National Breast Cancer Awareness Month in October. Best of all, many of AutoTex Pink’s partners have committed to “Breaking the Mold” and are giving an extra contribution from the sale of AutoTex PINK wiper blades to local charities in addition to AutoTex Pink’s standing donation.
