Toyota of Boerne has partnered with Clear Channel and Walmart to distribute turkeys to military and their families as well as a new home to a wounded warrior.

Toyota of Boerne is partnering with Clear Channel Communications and Walmart to give thanks and show support for America’s troops this holiday season by giving away turkeys to troops and a new home to a military family through The Military Warrior Support Foundation (MWSF), a non-profit organization out of San Antonio.

On Friday, November 22, at 5 p.m., a 100 percent mortgage-free home will be awarded to a combat wounded veteran and his family. In addition to the home giveaway, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., 1500 turkeys will be given away to all U.S. military, guard, reserve personnel and their families at Toyota of Boerne. The turkeys will be delivered to participants through a specially designated drive-through line at the dealership. Military personnel need only their valid military I.D. in order to receive their turkey.

“We want this year to be the biggest event yet,” says Vic Vaughan, Owner of Toyota of Boerne. “By giving away a brand new home and turkeys it’s our small gesture of thanks for everything that our military sacrifices on a daily basis for our country. We are proud to support our troops in their constant endeavors to preserve our freedoms that we so often take for granted. Toyota of Boerne is a family owned and operated business, and this is simply our family giving thanks to all the brave men and women in uniform.”

Toyota of Boerne is located just minutes from Loop 1604 on I-10 West at Exit 543. For more information about the dealership or this special event to honor the military, call 210-870-1800 or log on toyotaofboerne.com.
