FUJIFILM today announced the launch of the new X-E2 Camera and X-Q1 Compact Camera System. Both the X-E2 and X-Q1 are available now for pre-order at Adorama (http://www.adorama.com/results/shop-fuji), one of the world’s largest photography, video, imaging and electronics retailers.

FUJIFILM X-E2 – 2nd Generation X-Series

Affordably priced at 499.00 USD and available at the end of October (2013) in either black or silver, the compact 100mm x H 58.5mm x D 33mm X-Q1 weighs in at a mere 200g. Its X-trans CMOS II Phase Detection auto focus ranks as the world’s fastest, with benchmarked speeds at 0.06s. Combined with the EXR Processor II, the X-Q1 delivers outstanding performance for any photographer. The ergonomic X-Q1 design features a F1.8 25-100mm 4x electric power zoom and a power switch. The newly developed 920K-dot premium clear LCD is covered with tempered glass for maximum durability. The X-Q1’s sophisticated “Control Ring” gives photographers full manual control.
