Neal Closes Out Third Quarter— Builder Breaks More Records

Southwest Florida's leading, privately-owned and operated new home builder reports continued sales success. Ends third quarter strong with more success in sight for fourth quarter.

Neal Communities blazed through the summer season and finished the third quarter of 2013 with strength – breaking last year's record 442 home sales ahead of schedule. The Lakewood Ranch-based, new home builder sold 65 homes in September, climbing to 657 total so far year to date.

“With several new communities that grand opened this year plus the favorable market conditions, we have experienced tremendous sales success,” said David Hunihan, director of sales for Neal Communities. “As we head into the traditional real estate season over the next few months, we anticipate similar results that will make 2013 the best year in company history,” said Hunihan.

The greatest contributor to Neal's home sales in September was the fast selling and popular community, Central Park at Lakewood Ranch with 12 sales. Last month Neal also sold 11 homes at Grand Palm, a master planned community in Venice boasting a variety of amenities. Other notable numbers and communities include nine home sales at Sugar Mill Lakes, Neal’s newest community in Palmetto; eight homes at Villa Palmeras in Estero, and six homes at Woodbrook in Sarasota.

Neal Communities is pleased to announce several upcoming communities, all debuting during the fourth quarter of 2013. Eagle Trace— located off of SR64, just north of Lakewood Ranch near I-75— will open at the beginning of December. Neal’s South Division will be opening Coastal Key, located in Ft. Myers, at the beginning of November, along with Canopy, located in Naples, around the beginning of December.

Neal recently made the news for acquiring acreage in Nokomis for a project set for development in 2014. Already a strong presence in South Sarasota County building market, this will add to Neal’s line-up of Sawgrass Golf & Country Club and Grand Palm—both in Venice—and Boca Royale Golf & Country Club in Englewood.
