ATRS and MADD Expand Recyling Partnership into Dallas - Fort Worth
Fort Worth, TX (PRWEB) October 18, 2013 -- There is a new, brightly painted clothing donation bin in your neighborhood that supports victims of drunk driving, creates jobs in our community and is cleaning up the environment. This month American Textile Recycling Services (ATRS) and Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD) expand their partnership to offer textile recycling throughout the Dallas and Fort Worth metro areas.
The partnership kicks off on October 29, 2013 at Ridgmar Mall at the 4th Forth Worth Annual Walk Like MADD® 5K Race. ATRS is sponsoring the Shoe Memorial, which commemorates the 1170 people killed in Texas in 2012 by drunk drivers. ATRS will collect shoe donations for the temporary display with help from area Sports Authority stores and recycle them after the event.
"We are so pleased to be participating in this event," explains Scott Taylor, Market Manager for ATRS Dallas. "By partnering with property managers, store owners, schools and others to host a textile recycler on behalf of MADD, we can raise much-needed funding for local victim advocacy and keep our communities clean at the same time."
