Holland & Hart Welcomes Litigator John Anderson to the Firm’s Government Investigations and White Collar Defense Practice

As a former Assistant United States Attorney at the U.S. Department of Justice, Anderson has significant experience with the investigation and prosecution of federal offenses, including complex frauds and national security issues, as well as with criminal export control and counter-proliferation matters.

Holland & Hart LLP is pleased to announce the addition of John Anderson to the firm’s Government Investigations and White Collar Defense and Export Controls/Trade Sanctions practices. Anderson is based out of the firm’s Santa Fe office.

Anderson is an experienced litigator and focuses his practice on white collar criminal defense, government investigations and regulatory enforcement proceedings.

As a former Assistant United States Attorney at the U.S. Department of Justice, Anderson has significant experience with the investigation and prosecution of federal offenses, including complex frauds and national security issues, as well as with criminal export control and counter-proliferation matters. He has received top secret, sensitive compartmented information and Department of Energy security clearances.

Anderson represents corporate clients in investigations by government agencies, including the SEC and the Department of Justice. He also advises clients on compliance matters, with emphasis on the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act. In addition, Anderson counsels clients in commercial litigation, representing corporate clients in lawsuits involving antitrust law and federal securities matters.

Anderson is admitted to practice in New Mexico, New York, the Southern District of New York, the United States District Court for the District of New Mexico and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit.

He is a Barrister in the Oliver Seth American Inn of Court and an adjunct professor of advanced trial practice at the University of New Mexico Law School.

He holds a J.D. from Fordham University School of Law and an A.B. from Bowdoin College.
