We like to offer [webinar] topics that provide the most practical and real-world value to our audience. Nobody likes learning about something if that particular subject matter is rarely encountered in video production.

Starting in November 2013, Videomaker will be hosting two webinars subjects that are pertinent to almost all videographers. These are Intermediate Editing and Audio For Video. Speaking with Tyler Kohfeld at Videomaker, he had this to say about the webinar topic selection:
“We try to focus on webinar subjects around material that matters the most to people making video. Naturally, most videos involve sound and some type of editing. Going beyond the upcoming webinars, in general we like to offer topics that provide the most practical and real-world value to our audience. Nobody likes learning about something if that particular subject matter is rarely encountered in video production.”
The exact schedule for the webinars in November is as follows:
Audio for Video – November 13th, 2013 - 8:30 AM and 11:00 AM PST
Intermediate Editing – November 27th, 2013 – 11:00 AM PST

Founded in 1986, Videomaker was the first magazine to introduce video to a mass, non-industry audience. Though the video field has exploded dramatically in recent years, Videomaker still remains dedicated to its core mission: To encourage aspiring directors and documentarians to use video technology to find their own voices and tell their own stories. Today, Videomaker is more than just a magazine. It's grown to also become a robust online community, offering a full line of training DVDs, videos-on-demand, and a series of webinars and hands-on video training workshops. Every month, more than half a million professional videographers, independent filmmakers, and home video hobbyists turn to Videomaker to get the latest video scoops.
