Soldiers Angels' and The Skynyrd Foundation Turn it Up for the Troops
Miami Florida (PRWEB) October 28, 2013 -- The Skynyrd Foundation and Soldiers' Angels announce the successful auction of 2 artist signed guitars on the Simpleman Cruise VII October 20-24th 2013 (http://www.simplemancruise.com) to raise money for U.S. servicemen and women. The music festival at sea hosted by southern rock legends Lynyrd Skynyrd, took place on Norwegian Pearl, set sail from Miami on October 20, 2013 and returned on the 24th. The two Fender Stratocaster guitars have the Simple Man VII Cruise event branding and were signed by members of Lynyrd Skynyrd and by most of the other performing artists on the Simpleman Cruise such as The Outlaws, Molly Hatchet, Blackberry Smoke, Preacher Stone, Heather Luttrell, Aaron Lewis, Atlanta Rhythm Section, A Thousand Horses, the X Brothers and Zack Paxson, others. The silent auction raised more than $15,000. Proceeds from the auction will be split with 50% going to the charity of choice by The Skynyrd Foundation and 50% going to Soldiers' Angels all in pursuit of improving the lives of active duty and non-active U.S.veterans.
