Apple Keynote October 22: The Snugg Gets Ready For the Announcement
(PRWEB UK) 22 October 2013 -- It’s only been a month since the iPhone 5C and the iPhone 5S were released, but now all attention is on the announcement of the iPad 5, and the iPad mini 2. The iPad 5 will be the newest model of Apple’s full-sized tablet range, and is set to take the holiday sales by storm. Apple’s newest tablet will reportedly feature the Touch ID fingerprint reader that was debuted on the iPhone 5S, meaning that users will be able to do away with traditional pin code passwords. There could also be a champagne gold version of the iPad 5 released, which could prove very popular with Apple fans.
The iPad mini 2 is also expected to be announced at the media event, and it might be even more exciting than the iPad 5. The Retina screen has long been rumoured for the smaller iPad, though recent reports had speculated that it wouldn’t be ready in time. However, it now seems that the higher resolution display will be included on the iPad mini 2, meaning it will be a strong competitor for the Nexus 7. It will increase by a barely noticeable 0.02mm in thickness, but that paves the way for an improved, more powerful battery.
Les Yates, marketing manager at The Snugg, said: “We’re so excited to finally see the iPad 5 and iPad mini 2 from Apple – it’s been a long time coming! People are going to love the iPad 5’s fingerprint reader, as well as the iPad mini 2’s hi-res Retina screen. The iPad 5’s new design is going to make it look great, but users need to keep it in a protective case if they want to keep it in that pristine condition.”
There have also been rumors of a new 2013 version of the MacBook Pro released, as well as that MacPro computer that was showcased at WWDC in June. With all of the exciting devices to be released next week, Apple will have a busy quarter ahead.
