Studley's Chicago Office Celebrates 50 Years as a Leader in Commercial Real Estate Services
Chicago, IL (PRWEB) October 22, 2013 -- Leading global commercial real estate services firm, Studley is pleased to announce 50 years of tenant representation and corporate real estate advisory services in Chicago, one of the firm’s top producing offices nationwide.
John Goodman, Joseph Learner and Richard Schuham, co- branch managers of Studley’s Chicago office are proud to celebrate the success the firm has seen in the commercial real estate sector, loyalty from their long-term employees and clients and a continued, tireless commitment to community service.
This year marks 50 years of Studley’s success in Chicago and although the commercial real estate landscape is constantly changing, Studley continues to be a leading consultant, broker and business partner for companies in a variety of industries with a large range of real estate needs. With a staff of only three in 1963, Studley’s Chicago office now has 50 full time employees and, within the past 10 years alone, has executed approximately 3,000 lease agreements and other acquisitions resulting in over 65 million square feet of space.
“It’s not the 50 years of existence that we are celebrating. It’s the impact Studley has had on Chicago’s real estate and business community and the reputation that it has achieved,” says Executive Vice President and Co-Branch Manager, John Goodman. “There’s something different about Studley and it’s obvious. We approach projects differently, we treat our clients and employees differently and we also give back to our community. Clients stay, employees do too and no two client engagements will ever be approached in an identical way. Most importantly, the overwhelming sense of philanthropy that personifies Studley nationwide is clearly abundant in Chicago,” adds Goodman.
For example, The Annual Studley Landlord Golf Challenge is in its eighth year of existence and has raised $1.4 million since its inception. This year, the company donated over $150,000 to Sinai Children’s Hospital. Other charitable involvement includes Chicago Cares, Erikson Institute, Anti-Defamation League, The Goodman Theater, Lincoln Park Zoo, Bottomless Closet, American Red Cross and the Greater Chicago Food Depository.
Some of Studley’s longest standing clients include Accenture, The American Bar Association, Illinois CPA Society, Sargent & Lundy, Siemens, Exelon and Federal Home Loan Bank. Moreover, the firm has been acknowledged for countless companywide and individual broker honors, such as Crain’s 40 under 40, Fast Fifty, 20 in their 20s, Best Places to Work and multiple awards for Greater Chicago Food Depository’s Office Broker of the Year.
In addition to the branch managers, John Goodman, Joe Learner and Rick Schuham, who have been with Studley for over 22 years each, other longstanding, loyal Studley-ites include Senior Managing Director, John Conerty (20 years); Executive Assistant, Bernice Ramos (20 years); Executive Managing Director, Steven LaKind (18 years); Senior Managing Director, Lyle Levin (18 years); and Executive Managing Director, Lisa Davidson (16 years).
Looking ahead, Studley strives to remain a leader in the commercial real estate community in Chicago, grow its industrial sector, continue to recruit one-of-a-kind employees that embody Studley’s unique culture and give back generously to our community.
