Seven times out of the last 10 years Korein Tillery has been honored as one of the top US plaintiffs' firms.

We are proud to once again be recognized as one of the premier litigation firms in the country.

Korein Tillery has once again been named to the National Law Journal’s "Plaintiffs' Hot List" as one of the top plaintiffs’ litigation firms in the country. The list identifies 19 elite firms that “are at the cutting edge of plaintiffs’ work” and that possess “an impressive track record” of wins for their clients in complex, high-stakes litigation. This is the seventh time Korein Tillery has been named to the list in the last ten years.

"We are proud to once again be recognized as one of the premier litigation firms in the country," said Senior Partner Stephen M. Tillery. "Our attorneys have handled and won cases involving virtually every substantive area of the law, and we’ve done it for clients ranging from individuals and governmental entities, to multi-billion-dollar companies. That we continue to be recognized by the National Law Journal as one of the nation’s top firms speaks not only to our track record of success, but also the breadth and dexterity of our practice.”

Korein Tillery has successfully guided many clients through protracted, multi-faceted litigation against some of the most powerful and well-funded adversaries in the world. For example, a team of Korein Tillery’s attorneys was recently nominated for Public Justice’s Trial Lawyer of the Year Award after recovering over $100 million from agriculture-giant Syngenta to remediate contaminated water supplies for public and private water-providers across the country. (City of Greenville v. Syngenta Crop Protection, Inc., Case No.: 3:10-cv-00188-JPG-PMF) That honor follows an earlier nomination for the same award for Korein Tillery ongoing battle against Big Tobacco, which included a record-setting $10.1 billion trial verdict. (Price v. Philip Morris Inc., Circuit Court of Madison County, Illinois, 00-L-112) Over the course of the last two years, Korein Tillery has helped negotiate $335 million in mortgage-backed-securities settlements from some of Wall Street’s largest banks. Today, it continues to prosecute some of the most prominent securities and antitrust claims against Wall Street investment banks.

Korein Tillery is an AV-rated, award-winning law firm with offices in St. Louis and Chicago that has recovered billions of dollars in verdicts and settlements in a variety of cases across the country involving securities, antitrust, pension funds, insurance, telecommunications, pharmaceuticals, environmental contamination, tobacco, computer technology and consumer fraud. The firm has gained a national reputation for aggressively and successfully pursuing a wide variety of complex cases on behalf of its clients. Korein Tillery is the only Midwest-based firm named by the National Law Journal to its “Plaintiffs’ Hot List” in 2013, and has previously made the list in 2012, 2011, 2008, 2007, 2004 and 2003 as one of the nation’s top plaintiffs' law firms in all specialties.
