Advanced Discovery’s John Sanchez Mentors AT&T’s Operation Hand Salute
Mountain View, CA (PRWEB) October 22, 2013 -- John Sanchez, director of Document Review Solutions at Advanced Discovery, is pleased to be a mentor in this year’s Operation Hand Salute (OHS). OHS is provided through the Institute of Entrepreneurial Leadership (IEL) at John F. Kennedy University. This innovative program offers mentoring, assessment and strategic advice for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Business Enterprises (SDVOBEs).
“The goal of this program is to give back to those veterans who have served our country and provide them all the necessary tools to be successful business owners,” said Sanchez. “I’m honored to be a part of this groundbreaking supplier diversity program aiding in the success of Service Disabled Veteran Owned Business Enterprises.”
SDVOBE CEOs in the program first participate in an 11-week entrepreneurial course via AT&T TelePresence Solution. The program, led by Dr. Raul A. Deju, director of the IEL, then pairs these CEOs with business mentors and suppliers who oversee successful worldwide operations. Finally, the CEOs have the opportunity to pitch their services to a panel of experienced business leaders, entrepreneurs and AT&T executives. Many CEOs who complete the program gain contract job opportunities with AT&T.
John Sanchez, who was selected as a mentor for the second year in a row, serves as director of Document Review Services at Advanced Discovery. Mr. Sanchez has worked closely with some of the world's largest law firms and corporations, providing project management, staffing and document review facility solutions for large-scale review projects.
