Notre Dame FCU vs. USC Credit Union $10,000 Charity Challenge Results
Notre Dame, IN (PRWEB) October 22, 2013 -- In the spirit of the storied football rivalry between Notre Dame and USC, Notre Dame FCU’s President and CEO, Tom Gryp, challenged USC Credit Union’s President and CEO, Gary Perez, to see which credit union could acquire the most credit card applications by 11:59 p.m. on October 17. Both credit unions contributed $5,000 towards the prize. The champion received the full $10,000 to donate to the charity of their choice.
On September 23, 2013, Notre Dame FCU kicked off their BEAT USC! $10,000 Charity Challenge marketing campaign. The campaign consisted of an aggressive social media presence including a weekly engagement incentive of $50 VISA® gift cards awarded to randomly selected individuals who shared or commented on the credit union’s social media posts. Spirited graphics and encouraging statuses to Notre Dame FCU’s social media sites, such as Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn helped increase the average social media engagement level by 33% in less than a month and helped increase the credit union’s average social media reach by 34% in less than a month.
