Co-founder of Neighbor.ly Sarah Shipley to Lead a Civic Crowdfunding Session at the City Club of Portland’s Civic Salon
Portland, OR (PRWEB) October 22, 2013 -- Sarah Shipley, co-founder of Neighbor.ly, BikeWalkKC and Kansas City B-cycle, will lead a session on crowdfunding campaigns at the the City Club of Portland’s Civic Salon.
Shipley, who also owns Shipley Communications, has raised money for communities all over the country. She has witnessed diverse communities come together to build anything from an all-access playground to a bike sharing system.
“Thanks to my experiences working with civic crowdfunding campaigns throughout the nation, I have learned what works and what doesn’t when it comes to building successful initiatives and I’m excited to share my knowledge and help others,” Shipley says.
