Barracuda Expands Secure Application Delivery Platform with Barracuda Load Balancer ADC 540 and Firmware Version 5.1

The Barracuda Load Balancer ADC 540 is geared for customers looking for a secure, affordable midrange ADC platform with robust security. When paired with the upcoming firmware version 5.1 release, the Barracuda Load Balancer ADC provides authentication, authorization and accounting (AAA) capabilities and integration with VMware View.

Pricing and Availability
Barracuda Load Balancer ADC model 540 is available immediately and starts at US list price of $6,999 USD for the appliance and US list price of $1,249 USD for Energize Updates. An optional Instant Replacement service featuring priority replacement of failed hardware and complimentary refresh of four-year old hardware units is available starting at US list price of $1,549 USD per year. International pricing and availability vary by region.
Firmware version 5.1 will be generally available in January 2014. Firmware version 5.1 is provided at no additional cost for customers with compatible Barracuda Load Balancer ADC models and a current Energize Updates subscription.
