Beauty Schools of America® Supports Breast Cancer Awareness
Miami, FL (PRWEB) October 23, 2013 -- Beauty Schools of America® (BSA) sponsored the Breast Cancer Awareness event at Jackson Health System. October is breast cancer awareness month and BSA is determined to help promote breast cancer awareness. The Florida based beauty school provided mini-makeovers and beautification services for the breast cancer patients of Jackson Memorial Hospital.
Jackson South Community Hospital commemorates these patients by “Going Pink” during the entire month of October. Pink banners will adorn the light poles throughout Jackson North Medical Center’s parking lot throughout the month of October to remind visitors about the importance of breast cancer awareness. Mammogram screenings and free beauty makeovers were provided, with Beauty Schools of America® at Jackson Memorial Hospital, Jackson South Community Hospital and Jackson North Medical Center.
Beauty Schools of America® (BSA) was on location with a large team of cosmetologists, makeup artists, massage therapists and more to help make the women feel beautiful. BSA is dedicated to their community and this event was the latest extension of their philanthropic efforts.
“Breast Cancer awareness is such an important cause,” said BSA Regional Director of Field Operations Liz Gonzalez. “We welcome any opportunity to help.”
The Coral Springs Schools, Inc. d/b/a Beauty Schools of America® (BSA) opened its first campus in Margate, Florida in 1989.
