New shipping impact indicator—the ShockWatch 2—is now available through Packnet Ltd., a manufacturer of industrial custom packaging and wood packaging solutions. The ShockWatch 2 is a new and improved monitor that provides indisputable evidence of mishandling during transportation and shipping for customers shipping packages, crates or containers.

There are degrees of sensitivity options on the new ShockWatch 2 that go up according to freight size. The indicators are not activated until they are peeled and adhered to the package or crate. Activation occurs when a package has exceeded the G level threshold, which means it was improperly dropped or handled. The indicator is tamperproof and serialized, providing indisputable evidence of the handling conditions.
