IDEAL Physical Therapy’s own Stephanie Batz, PT, DPT, CPT recently acquired her Manual Therapy Certification (MTC), a great achievement. Born and raised in Florida, Stephanie decided to pursue Physical Therapy. As a Florida Gator, Batz received her Bachelor of Health Science at the University of Florida and her Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree at the University of Saint Augustine. In addition, Stephanie received her Certification as a STOTT Pilates Trainer (CPT) in order to incorporate Pilates into her therapeutic treatments.
After graduating, Batz moved to Arizona and began working for IDEAL Physical Therapy. She says, “It has been almost two years now and I wouldn’t have it any other way. I have enjoyed my time here and look forward to many more years to come.” Continually striving to learn more and become a better therapist, Stephanie began pursuing her MTC from the University of Saint Augustine. It involves mastering manual techniques like myofascial work, joint mobilizations, spine manipulations, and muscle energy techniques. “I recently passed all the exams and acquired the MTC degree, so I could not be happier. I look forward to using these new techniques in the clinic with my patients,” says Batz.
A few of the Scottsdale clinic’s specialties include Manual Therapy, Physical Therapy, Sports Therapy, Spine Manual Therapy, General Orthopedics, Pilates, Vertigo, Post-Operative Rehabilitation, High Velocity Low Thrust Manipulation and Spinal Decompression & Traction.
