Court data indicate that a bellwether trial in the NuvaRing Multidistrict Litigation was scheduled to begin on October 21 (case no. 4:2008cv00558, Missouri Eastern District Court). In the lawsuit, the plaintiff claims that she started using NuvaRing in 2003 and, a few weeks after, she suffered from deep vein thrombosis in her left leg and multiple pulmonary emboli in the lungs.
