According to management at Delta Travel, Delta is implementing a new structure to provide exceptional cruises throughout the world.

Delta Travel is a private, members only travel club whereby members can book travel at cost, saving them tens of thousands of dollars over their lifetime. To become a member, one must pay a one time membership fee and a nominal annual dues and attend one of their sales presentations in Valencia.

One benefit of being a member is the ability to book a high end luxury cruise at cost, making the entire vacation more affordable and turning that dream into a reality.

The goal of luxury cruises is to provide one of the finest experiences not only in cruising, but in all of travel. Some cruise lines have created itineraries that showcase the world and all its glory, from favorite must-see destinations to undiscovered gems of rare beauty. A careful balance of on board enrichment and shoreside adventure is combined to create the most magnificent experiences that will be treasured for a lifetime.

Some exciting new features include movie-making, which will become an on board course. "Digital Film making: The Ipad, Imovie Video Course" will be offered in a 5 hour class presented in conjunction with the University of Southern California's School of Cinematic Arts. Professional film making tools and techniques, from preproduction to final cut, will be on the curriculum.

A "Local Insights" program will bring experts from over 2 dozen cities that ships visit aboard for lectures, interviews, and sharing. Examples: in Barcelona, a Gaudi architect; in St Petersburg, an ex-mayor; in Belfast, a Titanic expert; in Copenhagen, a Tivoli Gardens Director; in Venice, the chairman of a 16 church wide chorus association. Typical subjects will include art, politics, archaeology, history, culture, and local color.
