touchOPHTHALMOLOGY were circulating copies of their latest edition of European Ophthalmic Review Volume 7 Issue 1, a free-to-access, peer-reviewed journal aimed at the European market, made up of cutting-edge review articles written by some of the most respected physicians in the world. With so many recent developments within Cataract & Refractive Surgery, an article on 'Ocular Surface Disorders and Cataract and Refractive Surgery Success' by Carlos Vergés was of particular interest.

The congress was an overwhelming success with hundreds of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons subscribing for free to the print journal and monthly Scientific eNewsletter.

Founded in 1991, the ESCRS is Europe's leading organisation for cataract and refractive surgeons and is at the forefront of developments in anterior segment surgery. The society has over 5,000 members from almost 100 countries worldwide.
