The core planners of "555 Days of Prayer to Save America" are reminding participants and patriots, everywhere, that the crucial, 100-day-long prayer to God, asking forgiveness and mercy for the sins of the United States of America, will begin on November 15, 2013.

Said Robert Berry, a lead planner and frequent spokesman for the prayer event, "I know that some would pray in other ways. But we have scripturally sought to remain upon the path God has led us along. We believe that if we do not acknowledge and repent the sins of the United States, in honesty, we will continue to affront Almighty God. Proverbs 14:34 says, "Righteousness exalteth a nation: but sin [is] a reproach to any people." Sin should no longer be allowed to stand as the great reproach it is against the United States of America. In the Bible, there are many examples of how God deals with rebellious nations. At Jeremiah 5:29, one sees: "Shall I not visit for these [things]? saith the LORD: shall not my soul be avenged on such a nation as this?" And, at Isaiah 30:1, where it says: "Woe to the rebellious children, saith the LORD, that take counsel, but not of me; and that cover with a covering, but not of my spirit, that they may add sin to sin." We have added sin to sin, to sin, in my belief."

Berry continued his remarks. "Daniel 9:20-21 gives example of the prayer attitude Christians and Messianic Jews are led to maintain during their prayers regarding The United States of America. There, the Word of God says: "While I was speaking and praying, confessing my sin and the sin of my people Israel and making my request to the Lord my God for his holy hill— while I was still in prayer, Gabriel, the man I had seen in the earlier vision, came to me in swift flight about the time of the evening sacrifice." We must confess, not only our sins, but, also the sins of our people, The United States of America. We seek the redemptive Hand of God, rather than the wrathful Hand of God! We wish God to speak of the United States of America as He spoke of Israel, to the Prophet, Isaiah in Isaiah 60:18. "Violence shall no more be heard in thy land, wasting nor destruction within thy borders; but thou shalt call thy walls Salvation, and thy gates Praise." Glory to God!"

The crucial next phase of the 555-day-long prayer initiative, which takes its theme from the 555-foot height of Washington, DC's towering Washington Monument, and, is called a monument, in prayer, to God, will begin on November 15, 2013, and continue through February 13, 2014. "Save America Gathering" will be engaged in spreading information regarding "555 Days of Prayer to Save America," and hopes to contact churches, nationwide. Planners also ask that participants, and participating churches inform their friends and partners of "555 Days of Prayer to Save America," and the upcoming 100-day long prayer for the sins of the United States of America.

The current 100-day-long prayer segment is for mercy and forgiveness of the sins and shortcomings of The Church, and will continue through November 14, 2013.
