“Holistic Solutions for Twice Exceptional Learners” Symposium, Saturday, November 16 at Pasadena Courtyard Marriott Hotel, will bring education and health care experts together to discuss groundbreaking holistic, non-pharmaceutical options for energetically sensitive children or children with learning challenges including ADD/ADHD, Dyslexia and Autism Spectrum Disorder.

A distinguished panel of education and health care experts will discuss groundbreaking holistic, non-pharmaceutical strategies for children with learning challenges at the “Holistic Solutions for Twice Exceptional Learners” symposium, http://www.innerlightsanctuary.com/events, Saturday, November 16, 10:00 am to 4:00 pm at the Pasadena Courtyard Marriott Hotel in Pasadena, California.

“Children with learning, behavior or mood challenges are typically seen as having something wrong with them, when in fact, many are gifted individuals who see the world in a unique way,” says Niki Elliott, PhD, education specialist and founder of Innerlight Sanctuary, innerlightsanctuary.com, which is hosting the event. “Our goal is to give parents and teachers practical, effective tools and resources they can apply at home and in the classroom to transform children into confident, enthusiastic learners.”

Featured speakers at the symposium will be:

-Niki, Elliott, PhD, author of "The Intuitive Mother: A 21-Day Spiritual Journey That Will Change Your Family Forever," (Transformation Books, 2012) which guides parents to reclaim their intuitive gifts to understand their children’s unique needs. During the symposium, Elliott will discuss the Innerlight Method of Energy Therapy she developed to improve mental clarity and emotional balance for energetically sensitive children and adults.

-Angela Gonzales, MD, a UCLA-trained pediatrician who founded Renaissance Mind, a learning and wellness facility dedicated to helping children overcome learning obstacles that accompany the gifted thinking styles of individuals with Dyslexia, ADD/ADHD and Autism Spectrum Disorder.

-Nicole Pusateri, MA, and Shay Sayani, MA, education experts who specialize in learning styles and environments that support optimal education for children with learning, mood and behavior challenges. Together they develop customized curriculum paths to honor children’s unique needs.
