The North American Automotive Supplier Report
London (PRWEB) October 23, 2013 -- The North American supplier industry has been in the spotlight over the last few years, having undergone a series of shocks at its fundament; from the bankruptcies of prominent large domestic suppliers including Visteon, Lear, Delphi, Metaldyne and Hayes Lemmerz, to the concerns of widespread and disordered bankruptcies following the pre-packaged Chapter 11 of some of their major customers. Defying the doomsayers, there have been fewer bankruptcies than expected so confidence has returned to an industry that burned the fingers of many investors. The industry has emerged from the two-year shock with stronger financials. Two major initial public offerings (Delphi and Allison Transmission) were further signs of increased confidence in the North American supplier industry.
