Ariane Smith, founder/CEO and creator of the Enchanted Thyme series, has agreed to license its children’s edutainment concepts to BluePin, the operator of the leading kids apps platform Kids World.

Great news for Enchanted Thyme readers! The much-loved book series just inked a huge deal on October 10 to go mobile with South Korean firm BluePin during the recent 2013 MIPCOM Summit in Cannes, France.

MIPCOM is the biggest TV, digital, film and publishing convention in the world, featuring the hottest new content and most relevant trends in technology.

The initial meeting between the companies was facilitated by KOTRA (Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency) at the ACE Fair in Gwangju, Korea, several days before the contract signing in France.

Fans need not wait much longer, as the Enchanted Thyme adventures soon will be available on mobile apps on the Kids World portal. Kids World sells more than 3,000 animation, education and storybook apps to its 500 million customers. They are all accessible through the Apple App, Samsung App and Google Play stores.

Bookworms can experience the fun-filled adventures of the Phair siblings and watch the three pixie-mice Marjoram, Basil and Rosemary come alive as Blue Pin whisks them off on an exciting journey to Enchanted Thyme.

The Enchanted Thyme series encourages a love of literacy as it entertains and inspires its readers, mostly 5- to 12-year-old children, to uphold healthy attitudes toward food and the world around them. New York-based Enchanted Thyme has offered many high-profile live interactive events and an animated television series.
