Massive Indoor Trampoline Park Planned for Raleigh, NC
Raleigh, NC (PRWEB) October 25, 2013 -- Launching Pad Raleigh Trampoline Park Inc. is excited to announce that land has been purchased and construction plans are underway for a massive indoor trampoline park in Raleigh, NC. With over 40,000 square feet of building space and over 18,000 square feet of wall to wall trampolines, The Launching Pad will be the largest indoor trampoline park in the State of North Carolina and one of the largest in the entire country. Opening is scheduled for the Spring of 2014.
The Launching Pad will be an exciting place for individual, family and group exercise and entertainment. There will be a Main Jump Court consisting of 7,000 square feet of interconnected trampolines which will allow participants to jump and bounce off the walls. In addition, there will be two regulation size dodge ball courts which will allow for exciting pickup, team and league play. Jumpers will also be able to soar into a foam pit and practice their basketball dunking skills on multiple basketball lanes. Little jumpers will be able to hone their leaping skills on a 1,200-square-foot Kids Court without interference from bigger jumpers. The Launching Pad will also offer trampoline aerobics classes, which are an exciting way to burn 1,000 calories per hour. On weekend nights, The Launching Pad will host Teen Nights, complete with a DJ and dancing.
Other features of the facility will include a 2,000-square-foot lounge with free Wi-Fi, four massive party rooms that can be combined for larger group outings, a snack bar, a 1,200 square foot arcade and space reserved for future indoor entertainment attractions. The Launching Pad will also have more than 175 parking spaces for customers. These features will make The Launching Pad an ideal location for birthday parties, school and church gatherings, fundraisers and corporate outings.
The Launching Pad will be located at 4306 New Bern Avenue in Raleigh. Building plans are currently being drawn by architect Ben Cahoon of Cahoon & Kasten Architects, Nags Head, NC. The trampolines will be designed and manufactured by Best American Trampolines, Dallas, TX. Construction is expected to commence around January 1, 2014. The building design consists of a column-free building with a ceiling height greater than 20 feet, which will provide a more open feel for customers and more flexibility for the trampoline design.
"We are incredibly excited about constructing a brand new building to house a state-of-the-art trampoline park in the Raleigh marketplace," said Kevin and Kristie Sisson, owners of The Launching Pad. "Our location will provide easy access for anyone in Raleigh and its surrounding communities, as well as the eastern part of North Carolina. The facility will have plenty of room to host large gatherings and provide a fun, safe entertainment venue for children, teens and adults."
