EVENTtech is one our favorite events every year because its attendees and organizers know how to push the boundaries and create the best experiences in the world.

Brightline Interactive CEO and Creative Director Erik Muendel will present about social media integration into event technology during the “Social machines: What they are, how they work” segment at EVENTtech. The presentation will take place from 11:30 AM-noon on Tuesday, November 5th at the Bellagio in Las Vegas, NV.

The presentation will highlight the use of lifelike automation in event spaces, as well as the ever-evolving use of social media and advanced technologies. The Virtual Presenter is a rear projection on glass, coated with a patented 3M film that allows for the rear projection and shields the user's eyes from a very bright backlit lighting source. The Virtual Presenter is just one example of a social machine—a show-stopping interactive experience that is customizable and scalable for brands to engage audiences at events.

In addition to the 3M Virtual Presenter, Erik’s presentation will also show the inventive Twitterballoon, an experience wherein users tweet to a EVENTtech-specific hashtag, causing air to be blown into a large balloon. After enough tweets, the balloon eventually pops, and the popping tweeter will win a prize.

“The 3M Virtual Presenter and Twitterballoon are concepts that brands and agencies should know about to continually stay at the frontier of event marketing technology,” began Erik, adding, “EVENTtech is one our favorite events every year because its attendees and organizers know how to push the boundaries and create the best experiences in the world.”

Erik has extensive speaking experience, and is a well-respected leader in the experiential marketing industry. Though he covers many different topics, Erik is specifically focused on the areas of emerging technologies, integrating digital experiences into on-site activations, and developing attractive, engaging interfaces for seamless user experiences.

Erik’s previous speaking appearances include Event Marketing Summit, ad:tech San Francisco, Digital Summit, EVENTtech, ad:tech New York, The Future of Touch and Interactivity, and Ignite DC. Erik is also the founder of the group #DCExperiential.
