Independent agency owners, Dan Muhlenkamp of Preferred Insurance Center and Wayne Partee of Partee Insurance will be presenting to agency owners and salesmen across the country on how to capture your community through philanthropy.
Both agency owners are no stranger to community involvement. With continued contributions to nonprofits, the agency owners have built an all-star reputation for themselves—and have used this reputation to brand themselves on various social media platforms for improved online marketing success.
Dan Muhlenkamp of Preferred Insurance Center in Ohio is proud to be recognized for the agency’s fun and exciting “Flamingo Insurance Policy” initiative. The agency teamed up with several charities for multiple fundraising events. If a pink flamingo ended up in an individual’s yard, they would need to call Preferred Insurance. For a $20 donation to the Serving Friends and Families Ministries, the agency would send a trained technician to remove the birds. In addition, for every quote Preferred Insurance gave, they donated $10 to the caller’s choice of 6 charities.
“Preferred Insurance Center has been looking for a fun way to involve the community in a fundraiser to support our local organizations like State Of The Heart Hospice and CALL Food Pantry, when we came across the Flock-a-Friend,” stated Dan Muhlenkamp. “Knowing that our communities in Mercer County love to have fun, we thought this is it! People can have fun while raising money for great organizations.”
Wayne Partee of Partee Insurance in California will also be extending his thoughts and tips on getting involved for a good cause within the community. Most recently, the agency has both participated and encouraged others to wear pink in an attempt to promote Breast Cancer Awareness Month. The agency has used both blogging efforts and social media as tools to promote this nationwide observation.
In addition to wearing pink, the agency is also offering to donate $1 per “like” on Facebook to Breast Cancer Research.
