Past and Present Leaders From ASCO, ASH, ASTRO, and NCCN to Discuss Future Role of Advanced Practitioners in Oncology at First Annual JADPRO Live Conference

The conference brings Harborside’s popular peer-reviewed publication, the Journal of the Advanced Practitioner in Oncology (JADPRO), to a live, interactive format. A continuing education event for nurse practitioners, physician assistants, clinical nurse specialists, advanced degree nurses, hematology/oncology nurses and pharmacists, JADPRO LIVE will be held January 24-26, 2014, at the Renaissance Vinoy in St. Petersburg, Florida.

A special panel discussion on the changing role of advanced practitioners will be moderated by Ms.Viale. Panel members will include Peter Yu, MD, President-Elect of the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO); Robert W. Carlson, MD, Chief Executive Officer of the National Comprehensive Cancer Network (NCCN); Louis B. Harrison, MD, former President and former Chairman of the American Society for Radiation Oncology (ASTRO); and Steven L. Allen, MD, Chair of the Committee on Practice of the American Society of Hematology (ASH).
Attendees can earn up to 12 CE credits for sessions that meet the educational criteria requirements for nurse contact hours through ANCC and CBRN (Provider 13164), pharmacist contact hours through ACPE and physician AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™ through ACCME.
