New York, NY (PRWEB) October 25, 2013
Just last year, singer & songwriter Nikko Sherard released a free mix tape album called The Voices of Nikko Sherard that contains both original and rewritten material from music that has inspired him throughout his life. With hardly any promotion, the mix tape received over 20,000 views, 2,146 streams and 3,141 downloads on http://www.datpiff.com, and not including the downloads received from his artist page.
Nonetheless, Nikko Sherard has faced many obstacles through his career and like in his Kickstarter video, illustrates an inspirational journey through different locations around NYC demonstrating how he won’t give up on his dream of making his first album. (http://youtu.be/3sDMxS6MIGs)
On his kickstarter he mentions, “I have never given up. In spite from being homeless to losing one of the most important women and number one fans in my life, my Grandmother, who last words to me were, "God promised me I would see you perform in front of the world, so don't rush for me. I will see you and be with you in your success." This has pushed me to the point of no return. I have literally gone too far to give up now!”
Now he wants to come back with all forces to raise $50,000 to fund the album on kickstarter.com. He will use the funds to promote, market, and create an album with the utmost quality. He does not plan to fall short with his album. He has on standby amazingly talented producers that are ready to get this project finish. The project has already begun but in order to complete this he needs more funds. He is excited to take this journey in creating an amazing album that will touch your hearts.
The Kickstarter’s page goal set is to raise $50,000 within 36 days and counting. Even with small or large donations you can help the project progress. In addition, the Kickstarter page offers a feature that allows you to receive awards for your donations. Please check the link out and be a part of history in the making!
