Visalia, CA (PRWEB) October 29, 2013
Schuil and Associates is celebrating a major milestone of being in business 30 years November 1, 2013. Schuil & Associates (http://www.schuil.com) is a leading agricultural real estate company located in Visalia, CA. They have grown to be the top dairy broker in the state and also are very active in a wide variety of other crops, ranging from tree fruit to nuts. The company is owned by three brothers and they enjoy working with farmers and ranchers, helping their clients reach their real estate goals.
Mike, Marc and Rick Schuil (Mike and Marc are identical twins, Rick the younger brother) all graduated from Fresno State and are avid Red Wave fans. After graduation, Marc went on to USC to obtain an MBA in Finance, and Mike went to work for a bank and then with his dad at Century 21 in Dinuba. Mike talked his dad into opening up their own office, and asked Marc who was working for a real estate developer if he wanted to join them. Rick joined his brothers a couple of years later, and then Dad retired in 1989.
Early memories are getting the Dinuba office ready to open for business while Marc’s son and Mike’s daughter, happily spent time in a play pen in the middle of the office. Mike, Marc and Rick were fortunate to have a father with great confidence in their abilities and allowed them to run all aspects of the business. They started with just a few agents and a secretary, and quickly began a brisk business selling houses, farms, and commercial properties.
In 1985 Marc decided to open a Visalia branch on Oak Street and move his family to Visalia, while Mike chose to be the managing broker of the Dinuba and Reedley offices and Rick opened a Kingsburg branch. While all four branches grew and became profitable, after 25 years the brothers desired to be under the same roof and Rick and Mike joined Marc in our recently built Mission style office building located at Mineral King and Akers in Visalia.
All three brothers believe in giving back to the community they live in. Marc is currently on the Suncrest Bank Board of Directors and a Director at the Visalia Rescue Mission. Mike is involved in his church community and is currently president of the Reedley College Quarterback Club. Rick’s clear voice can be heard Friday evenings in Kingsburg where he happily announces for the local football team. Rick also serves on the Fresno Pacific College Foundation board.
Marc Schuil states, "Schuil and Associates has been blessed with quality agents through the years and have made their niche in agricultural and dairy sales." The dairy division has become the nation’s leader, being licensed in several states. A highlight of everyone is meeting with clients and helping solve the various challenges that inevitably come up when selling a property. It has been such a privilege working with so many loyal clients over the years, and we hope to continue the traditions of strong work ethic and excellent customer service that were started three decades ago.
