Norcross, Georgia (PRWEB) October 29, 2013

Ashworth College, a leading online school, has recently announced a partnership with the Gun Club of America to provide graduates of the Gunsmith Training program with a one-year silver membership in the organization.

For the benefit of its graduates, Ashworth College (http://www.ashworthcollege.edu) created a comprehensive gunsmithing program to prepare students for careers in the firearm field. Combining an accredited gunsmithing career diploma with a membership in the Gun Club of America enables graduates to expand their knowledge.

“The Gun Club of America is a respected fraternity for firearm enthusiasts, and becoming a member enriches Ashworth graduates with a deeper understanding of the firearm community,” said Dr. Leslie Gargiulo, Ashworth College Chief Academic Officer. “There are always career opportunities for men and women with the ability to build, repair and preserve guns.”

Dr. Gargiulo went on to cite statistics from the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives. “In 2010, 5,459,240 new firearms were manufactured and another 3,252,404 firearms were imported to the United States that same year. These numbers demonstrate just why gunsmiths are valued professionals.”
