Business Talent Group, which brings organizations and top-tier independent professionals together to drive change and address business challenges, is deepening its Chicago presence with the addition of Principal Robin Goolsbee to the Client Service team. A former McKinsey Engagement Manager with depth in consumer goods and media, Goolsbee will work from BTG’s Chicago office to serve organizations across the region.
“I’m excited to be working with our terrific talent and clients to help BTG grow our business in the Chicago area,” Goolsbee says.
BTG, founded six years ago, helps some of the world’s best known companies, private equity firms, and non-profits harness independent consultants and executives to do work once performed by traditional consulting firms or permanent employees. The company has been recognized by The Economist, The Wall Street Journal, and Harvard Business Review and has offices in New York, San Francisco, Boston, Chicago, and Austin.
Goolsbee previously served as Assistant Vice President of Business Development at UNext.com, an education company offering online business courses developed with Stanford, Columbia University, University of Chicago, Carnegie Mellon and the London School of Economics. While with McKinsey & Company’s Chicago office, she worked with clients across retail, consumer goods, and education. Prior, she was Director of Business Development for MTV Networks International, as well as a Senior Associate with Boston Consulting Group. In addition to her professional experience, Goolsbee has been an active volunteer, serving on the University of Chicago’s Comer Children’s Hospital Board and the Steppenwolf Theater Company’s Auxiliary Governor’s Board. She has also coached Girls on the Run teams.
