Long Island, NY (PRWEB) October 25, 2013
David Gergen and NFL Super Bowl Champion Derek Kennard will be partnering up with Long Island Dental Sleep Medicine to host another free public event in Long Island, NY December 5, 2013. Pro Player Health Alliance (PPHA) calls these events "Tackling Sleep Apnea," which are intended to raise awareness in the public about the deadly sleep disorder known as sleep apnea with testimonials from NFL greats.
The idea behind the campaign is to get as many former professional athletes treated as possible through Pro Player Health Alliance, then those players partner with sleep specialists across the country to hold public events. This event's sleep specialists are Dr. Neal Seltzer and Dr. Jeffrey Rein. They have been treating patients for over twenty years and are now one of the largest practices in the New York area. In fact, they will also be the first east coast dentists to be screening players at the Super Bowl Symposium 2014 in New Jersey.
In addition to being the go-to guys for NFL greats in the area, they work closely with American Legion members, veterans and current American soldiers in the area. Dr. Rein and Dr. Seltzer will be with Pro Player Health Alliance spreading sleep apnea awareness at the Veterans day event in Valley Stream, NY on Veterans day, November 11, 2013.
The PPHA events are perfect for individuals who want to learn more about sleep apnea, alternative treatment options to CPAP such as the oral appliance known as the Sleep Herbst and to hear genuine stories from American heroes who have experienced the same complications. Where else would you go to meet NFL greats and learn about sleep apnea from experts in the industry for free? As a fun twist, Pro Player Health Alliance holds a free raffle for registered attendees that include prizes signed by the players.
