BluCore Shooting Center Opens Texas Location
Denver, CO (PRWEB) October 25, 2013 -- The BluCore Shooting Center announced today that it has opened its new retail facility in Round Rock, TX. The owners, both prior Navy SEALs, are enthusiastic about the opportunity expansion into Texas delivers.
When they left the military, Sean Haberberger and Eric Frohardt wanted to use their training, skills and experience to teach Front Range residents to protect themselves. Along the way, they have redefined the firearms experience, creating a higher standard of the range and training experience at their retail facility in Lakewood, Colorado. In addition to their brick and mortar store, they opened the BluCore Online Gun store, http://www.blucoreshootingcenter.com, in order to make a larger selection of guns, gear and ammo available to both their local and national customers.
The Lakewood facility officially opened June 2011. The initial success of this facility, and its online operations, inspired the BluCore Team. It was their intent to open another facility in Colorado. Then, Colorado’s legislature passed gun laws that severely restricted the types of guns and accessories that could be sold online. As a result, it didn’t make sense for BluCore to expand in Colorado anymore.
Commenting on the impact of recent Colorado laws restricting the size of gun magazines allowed to be sold, Frohardt said, “Our intention was to expand in-state. Now we have to do it elsewhere. We are excited about the opportunity of expanding into Texas. Texas strongly supports our 2nd Amendment. In return, we will do our part to help support the Texas economy.”
Currently, the BluCore Shooting Center in Lakewood, CO employs more than 30 people. Many of their employees are combat veterans. BluCore has already hired combat veterans at their Round Rock location.
This summer, BluCore was awarded the National Shooting Sports Foundation’s 5 Star rating, one of only a few nationwide to receive this prestigious ranking and the only one in Colorado. At the same time, BluCore received an A- rating from the Denver/Boulder Better Business Bureau. Frohardt says it is BluCore’s intention to introduce the same high standards of operation at their Round Rock location.
Eventually, BluCore will relocate their online store back offices to Texas as well. For now, Frohardt added, the management offices remain in Colorado.
