Advantage Air Services Owner Elected to Southlake Chamber Board
Southlake, Texas (PRWEB) October 28, 2013 -- Stephen Durham, Owner and Operator of Advantage Air Services, a local Southlake company with more than 18 years of experience providing plumbing, heating, and air conditioning service to Southlake and neighboring cities, has been elected to a three-year term (2013-2016) as a Board of Directors member for the Southlake Chamber of Commerce.
The Southlake Chamber of Commerce provides benefits and services to facilitate the success of small businesses and help members become connected with the local community. During the first year of service on the board of directors, Durham has already provided his unique skillset and experience in the logistics and operations of the chamber’s largest fundraiser, Oktoberfest, which is held annually at Southlake’s Town Square shopping center.
During this year’s event Advantage Air donated more than 200 man hours and vehicles for the duration of the event. All logistics, vender entrance and exit, and a large number of positions serving patrons were filled with the smiling faces from Advantage Air Services. This year's Oktoberfest was a record breaking event due to the great team within the Southlake Chamber headed by Mark Gilbert who is bringing together the wonderful people in the Southlake area for all types of businesses and events within the community.
Durham has been in the plumbing, heating, and air conditioning industries for almost 20 years. Though he has several degrees, including an MBA and currently working toward his Doctoral in Business, those are not the accomplishments of which he is most proud.
