Resolvity Awarded Patent for Technology That Eases the Development and Maintenance of Sophistication Speech Recognition IVR Applications

Resolvity, Inc. announced that it was awarded U.S. patent 8,521,666 “Case Acquisition for Incremental Case-Based Reasoning System”. The patent describes an innovative method and system for acquisition of cases to be used in a Case-Based Reasoning (CBR) System for complex problem solving.

Dr. Jacek Jarmulak, Resolvity’s VP of Product Development noted that “The method and system that we implemented around it allows us to quickly acquire and model real-world solved problem cases when building new problem solving applications. The cases are then used by our Incremental Case-Base Reasoning Engine to drive a problem-solving dialogue – e.g. when a caller calls one of our IVR-based troubleshooting applications. Resolvity Platform can use the same CBR Engine and Case Base for customer facing problem-solving applications deployed over traditional IVR or next generation mobile support applications.”

With the new system in place, case acquisition is now an order of magnitude faster and it can be done with much less training.
