transcosmos Releases “Daichi Presents Human Beat Box Lesson”, Second iPhone App Supervised by Human Beat Boxer, Daichi

(Headquarters: Tokyo, Japan; CEO: Miki Watanabe, hereafter, “Watanabe Entertainment”) has developed the iPhone app, “Daichi presents Human Beat Box Lesson” (hereafter, HBB Lesson) supervised by Daichi, a young artist from Watanabe Entertainment known as Human Beat Boxer who has been energetically performing worldwide, and started release as of September 24.
Human Beat Box is a musical performance without using any musical instruments, where only sounds created from the mouth and lips are used to generate music. Along with voice percussion, which expresses the sounds of drum beats (“drum”), performers compose music by mixing other sounds such as scratch, bass, clap, and noise with the drum. These skills were originated from the Hip Hop culture in its early days, and are also enjoyed by competing his/her skills against each other in a dance battle format.
HBB Lesson is a video lesson app that enables users to learn from the basics. Under the close supervision of Daichi, the app explains the points to master human beat box in an easy to understand video. It is also stocked with a convenient feature of comparing the lesson video and a video that records the user’s mouth. Lesson videos are available for purchase based on levels, and are also able to add special codes that are distributed at events so users’ can step upon their own pace.

(1) Level based Lessons
From EASY to HARD, users are able to select challenge lessons based on each level. The user can then select the beat they want to master. In addition to the easy to understand instructional video content, descriptive instruction and caption supervised by Daichi are built in so even beginners can put their hands on.
(2) 2 screen Lessons
Users’ can select lessons from EASY to HARD, where on portrait view the top and bottom are divided by the lesson video and the recorded video of the user. This recorded video enables users to distinguish the difference between the lesson video so the challenge can be mastered more quickly. By tapping the full screen button or rotating to landscape view, a full view of the lesson is also possible.
(3) Lesson Additions
Lesson contents are available to purchase from “ADD LESSON”. In addition, with the SPECIAL menu, the user can scan a limited QR code to add special lesson contents.

Daichi is a young, highly talented Human Beat Boxer! His talent has not only been widely recognized over the Internet as well as in the live scenes in Japan, but his amazing skills have also been highly praised in New York, which is the birthplace of Hip Hop music.
Born July 2nd, 1990 from Fukuoka
From age 10, he has started practicing on being a Human Beat Box on his own. He can make over 50 different sounds without using any musical instruments. As his popularity soars, more than 160,000 people already have subscribed to his channel.
In 2012, he has appeared as a challenger at The Apollo Theater, a historical live house also famously known as a “Gateway to Success” to many amateur entertainers. He has won Third place from this challenge at the Apollo. This is the first time a Japanese musician has ever won this position in The Apollo Theater’s history.
