With a Head Office in Boston, strategic locations in New York and Washington DC and international alliances in Europe, Asia and the Middle East, the Law Firm knew that a significant presence in London was becoming increasingly important to its clients. With the recruitment of a high profile trade finance partner earlier this year, the London office would enable the firm to further broaden and enhance its existing practices in cross-border finance, mergers and acquisitions, tax, banking and international arbitration.
Following a recommendation by a fellow international law firm, the company selected MBA IT to install the Tower 42 office.
MBA IT leveraged its close relationships with key vendors, including Dell, Lenovo and Cisco Meraki, to design and install the corporate phone system, desktops, communications room and network infrastructure. Having a local coordinator for the new office was essential and Alexandra Robinson, Senior Account Manager at MBA IT became the lynchpin of the project. “I already had a great working relationship with many of the key vendors involved in this project and was also able to recommend products and suppliers that the client hadn’t used before, as I knew the technology would be perfect for them. I was in almost daily contact with BT who installed the lines, which would have been incredibly time consuming for the client to do this remotely from the US.”
MBA IT’s team of experienced technical engineers built and installed the entire communications and technology infrastructure and are now providing ongoing IT support for the 30 users who are based there.
