Price will speak to FSU’s College of Business Accounting Department’s faculty, students (undergraduate and graduate), and employees of Thomas Howell Ferguson P.A. about his Big 4 experiences, entrepreneurship risks and rewards in the accounting profession, and the value of giving back to the industry and community.

About the Speaker
Price has over 15 years of professional experience performing compliance assessments and is widely recognized as one of the most experienced SAS 70/ SSAE 16 compliance auditors in the country, with more than 950 SAS 70/SSAE 16 audits performed.
After completing his Master of Science in Accounting, Price began his career with Arthur Andersen LLP, established the first-ever CPA firm to focus solely on performing SAS 70 audits: SAS 70 Solutions, Inc., where he served as President from 2002 to 2009, and joined A-lign, a global provider of compliance services, in 2009 to provide cost effective compliance solutions to companies throughout the world.
Price remains heavily involved in the formation of the accounting and auditing profession through his service in state and national organizations. He has served as the 2012-2013 Chair of the Board of Governors for the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants (FICPA) and the Chair of the Finance and Office Advisory Committee on the Board of Governors for the FICPA. Nationally, Price is an elected member of the AICPA Council serving a three-year term representing Florida on the Council.
