This year’s festival was bigger and better than ever. Festivalgoers of all ages had an assortment of activities to choose from, including arts and crafts, classic games and coveted, neighborhood cakewalk.
As the disc jockey filled the crisp autumn air with Motown sounds and the Monster Mash, residents snacked on carnival foods such as cotton candy, popcorn and snow cones. Lunch was on the house from local favorites Auto Burger and Fry Guys. A surprise visit from the Waxhaw Fire Department allowed for Union County’s future firefighters to hop aboard on the truck and see what it’s like to be a hero. According to Kelley Archer, MillBridge marketing manager, it was a perfect example of how MillBridge neighbors come together to celebrate family and fun.
