Award winning health care executive Bill Bassett, formerly of Deyta, was introduced today as the new Vice President of Product Management for the Procura Group of Companies. He succeeds Scott Overhill, who was recently appointed President of the Procura Group of Companies. Bill’s role will be guiding the future direction of the product lines in the United States, Canada and Australia.

“We are committed to being more than just a health care technology company, but being an organization that is fueled by innovation,” stated Scott Overhill. “In the US specifically, we have taken on talented and thought provoking people, which includes the likes of Rebecca MacKinnon as Vice President of Sales, Scott Herrmann as Director of Mobile Solutions, Brad Caldwell as Vice President of Sales and Marketing for ContinuLink and Scott Brashears as Chief Technology Officer for ContinuLink. Bill is the continuation of hiring spectacular people that will help guide this company and our products into the future. His unique insight and knowledge will propel our team into exciting new markets and continuously deliver on our customer promise.”

"I have had the pleasure to work with many of the team at the Procura Group of Companies and have always been impressed with their intelligence, insight and dedication to optimize patient care,” said Bill Bassett. “I am honored to join such as prestigious organization. The continuous evolution of healthcare ecosystems provides forward-thinking companies, such as the Procura Group of Companies, with numerous opportunities to grow worldwide. The future of healthcare, in the US and worldwide, needs to evolve from the silo concept of today’s operations towards a streamlined process of total patient and population health management across the care continuum. Our software, technology and mobile solutions are in place to help providers focus on their patients, clients, and team members in a seamless, time saving approach.”

Bill’s experience spans over 20 years in healthcare, analytics, business intelligence, and technology organizations with Deyta, OCS and Bristol-Myers Squibb. A few of his recent accomplishments include developing the industry’s first integrated analyses of satisfaction, quality and financial measures, creating predicative modeling tools to proactively identify re-hospitalizations and developing HHCAHPS, HCAHPS and Hospice quality compliance programs. Bassett believes in recognizing success and began the HHCAHPS Honors®, the HomeCare Elite® and the Hospice Leaders Forum to acknowledge forward-thinking agencies in post-acute care. Recognized as an industry leader, he serves on national US committees and is a long-standing participant of the HHFMA Workgroup and HTCAA. Bassett is a regular faculty member at national and state conferences and has written several white papers and lecture series.
