Just like words connect together to tell a story, I pledged to do what I love to do so that people of all ages can enjoy one of my fondest childhood memories, connecting dots.

Connect the dot puzzle creator, David Kalvitis, is kicking off the holiday season this month at two events featuring the award-winning Greatest Dot-to-Dot books. Allendale Columbia School’s second annual Holiday Market combines unique crafts and holiday shopping in one place. On Saturday, November 2 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Gannett Gym located at 519 Allens Creek Road, Rochester, NY., the public is free to enjoy the many attending exhibitors featuring special finds perfect for holiday gifts.

“We are very excited to be a part of Allendale Columbia School’s second annual Holiday Market,” says David Kalvitis, creator of the Greatest Dot-to-Dot puzzles and founder of Monkeying Around. “Being able to connect with locals truly allows us to give them our thanks and show our passion for puzzles.”

At the 17th annual Rochester Children’s Book Festival, David Kalvitis is helping with their mission to promote reading to and by children. On Saturday, November 16 from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. in the Flynn Campus Center at Monroe Community College, families are in for a magical day packed with activities, presentation and meeting those who write and illustrate books for children, tweens and teens.

“The festival’s encouragement to ‘Get Caught Reading’ is something we have always been a fan of,” says Kalvitis. “Just like words connect together to tell a story, I pledged to do what I love to do so that people of all ages can enjoy one of my fondest childhood memories, connecting dots.”

Monkeying Around will be featuring their award-winning Greatest Dot-to-Dot puzzle books, the most complex and artistic activity puzzles to date. Taking the concept of connect the dot to a vastly different, and far more challenging level, these puzzle books are fun for all ages.
