WISE Los Angeles Honors 2014 Women of Inspiration Lindsay Amstutz, Jennifer Lau, and Amy Taylor

(PRWEB) November 04, 2013 -- The Women in Sports and Events (WISE) Los Angeles Chapter will honor Lindsay Amstutz, Vice President of Marketing for FOX Sports Networks, Jennifer Lau, Vice President of IMG Action Sports, and Amy Taylor, Vice President of Marketing for Red Bull North America at their fourth annual Women of Inspiration Dinner presented by FOX Audience Strategy.
On November 21, 2013 at 6:30 P.M. PT at the Annenberg Beach House in Santa Monica California, WISE Los Angeles will recognize these women for their impact and contribution to the business of sports and events. Amstutz, Lau, and Taylor will be presented their awards by special guests. The program will also include a keynote address from Sue Enquist, UCLA Softball and USA Softball Hall of Fame Coach.

Amstutz serves as Vice President of Marketing for FOX Sports Networks, helping lead marketing efforts across the FOX family of regional sports networks. Prior to working at FOX, she served as Vice President and CMO for the Los Angeles Sparks and Director of Team Marketing and Business Operations for the NBA/WNBA, where she consulted and advised teams on advancing all aspects of the business. Her passion for utilizing sports to help advance women led Amstutz to found “Get in the Game: Sports for Women," a non-profit focused on encouraging physical activity, networking, and charitable giving among professional women.
As Vice President of IMG Action Sports, Lau specializes in the development of lifestyle and entertainment properties and is instrumental in building IMG’s global business. Lau has proven her expertise in action sports by helping to expand one of the division’s cornerstone events in to a global property by creating the Australian Open of Surfing, a sister event to the US Open of Surfing. She was also a key player in the development of renowned endurance sports and lifestyle events in the industry including Escape from Alcatraz Triathlon, Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week in Los Angeles, Street League Skateboarding and Hurley Pro.
Taylor started with Red Bull in 1999, and runs the East Business Unit for Red Bull North America today as Vice President/General Manager. She is responsible for leadership across and brand and the business: marketing, sales, distribution, and operations/finance. Throughout her years, Taylor helped build Red Bull from a local face to a global brand. Prior to joining Red Bull, Taylor spent six years in sports marketing, holding positions with the National Basketball Association’s Atlanta Hawks, and producing events for the Atlanta Committee for the Olympic Games, among others.
